Next year

Saul Williams and Four Tet will be doing some shows amongst other stuff happening at the Sydney Festival. This is going to be ridiculously cool! Williams' live show supposedly consists of just him, his mic and a dude on an MPC. If it's anything like his live set at Stockholm that i've been caning, it should be one hell of a show. Already I can see myself drawing comparisons to Sage Francis' Basement show last year. It was the most energetic hip hop gig I've ever witnessed, and all it was was this fat bearded man spitting lyrics over some instrumentals that he played on his portable discman! Who needs bright lights and make up when you've got talent?
