it was my sister's 21st yesterday and the drunken shenanigans will start at home on saturday. there are two cases of beer, two cases of wine and other alcomoholics poking faces at me on the kitchen floor. being the nice brother that i am, i've got her 2 tickets to the nerd concert coming up. i am secretly hoping that she'll give one of those tickets to me. chances of that are zero though. might leave a subtle hint behind like writing my name in big fat texta on the back of one the tickets.

besides that, i just want to hide under a blanket and read my book. 'ghostwritten' by david mitchell. it was just a random buy from an el cheapo book store a few days ago but it's looking very promising so far.
