It reminds me of another protest that happened on George Street a couple of months ago. I got off the bus at Wynyard about to do normal lunch time things but as the doors parted, I fell straight into the middle of some rally with red, white and green streamers and banners with Lebanese flags being waved around. It was no use going against the flow of people because there were too many of them, so for 100 metres or so, I walked, wanting the Syrian troops to get out of Lebanon.

Second hand shopping

I found this pretty daggy jacket from Jazz Garter the other day. When I got home, I was checking its pockets and discovered a pink handkerchief and an empty packet of Uncle Tobys 'Wrapps' in there. Normally people will find this disgusting but I don't care cos hey, free hanky! As a side note, I don't think Uncle Tobys even sell that line of product anymore, the last time I saw it was probably when I was in Year 6.
