what the hell is with the background?

thought i'd wait to write about dj marky & stamina until my review was up on sydney friction. so here it is. it was a mission trying to remember things from this night. half of it is probably crap made up by my scary drunken face. don't drink too much vodka & red bull. it makes you shake.. a lot :/ *twitch*
have you ever seen a rage against the machine live concert? there is this weird thing that weird guys in the crowd do where they form a circle and basically just start running around in an anti clockwise direction pushing and shoving each other along the way. is this like the rock equivalent of the r&b party circle?
try albatross overload. freakin hell can't stop playing!
so i finally got to see eternal sunshine of the spotless mind the other night. its been talked up a lot so was expecting big things and it wasn't too bad. for the most part, it's pretty confusing.. it lacks any sort of order & keeps switching between reality & la la land and only starts making sense in the last few minutes and you sit there going AH HA! it's all coming together now! yay! but hey i think that was the effect they were trying to achieve. nice head fuck. captures the dream state nicely. touching too. good work then...
bought a couple of records last night.
karaoke is the most painful thing ever.
it was my sister's 21st yesterday and the drunken shenanigans will start at home on saturday. there are two cases of beer, two cases of wine and other alcomoholics poking faces at me on the kitchen floor. being the nice brother that i am, i've got her 2 tickets to the nerd concert coming up. i am secretly hoping that she'll give one of those tickets to me. chances of that are zero though. might leave a subtle hint behind like writing my name in big fat texta on the back of one the tickets.
flicking through the tv channels today i saw the advertisment for 'there's something about miriam' for the first time. had to laugh. unlucky! here's a reality show worth watching just to see the peoples reactions.
i feel like i've just eaten half a human. at least it makes up for the lack of food on sunday & missing out on the dnbbq food on saturday night booo! speaking of which, it was a pretty damn good night. i just wished the monitors weren't playing up while i was on. but blah, excuses. breakage dropped a massive set. you know, those ones where you just wanna overturn tables, break glass and scream fuuuuuck youuuu! to people. it was fun.
